In the middle of the Ligurian Riviera lies Alassio, a renowned seaside resort of the main draws of Liguria that every summer a large number of tourists from all parts of Northern Italy and abroad (especially Germany and Nordic countries in general).
The town of the province of Savona is famous for its marina "Luca Ferrari" where hospitality are increasingly boats national jet-setters. Alassio is full of beaches, the beaches, with facilities for tourists from several vacation rentals lease, but there are hotels, apartments and pensions. The sea of Alassio has been awarded the Blue Flag several times Legambiente.
And 'possible to reach Alassio by car, thanks to the dual-carriageway or the A10, by train, the station on the Genoa-Ventimiglia. Among the events and happenings in the Ligurian town include Miss Muretto, the famous beauty contest, the race of the sand castles and countless other initiatives, from festivals to literary contests.
Alassio is full of monuments, many churches, most of which date back to medieval and modern, as well as of great interest are the "alleys" of the old town and the Saracen Tower. The most famous monument is the wall, on which are affixed tiles signed by famous people: after that of E. Hemingway, the first ever in 1951, they have added another 500 or so.
